Petite Doodles
We are proud of our petite Doodles , coats are non-shedding and come in wavy or curly and most any colour you like, don’t let the small size of these petite doodle dogs fool you, they are just as smart, loyal and loving as the standard doodles and the minis, Petite Doodles are 100% non-shedding and and can weigh between 10-20 full grown. We do the best we can at estimating the size of a puppy by adding the two weights of the parents and dividing by two but we can not guarantee the exact size just get close to it.

Caring for Your Petite Goldendoodle: A Complete Guide for Happy, Healthy Companionship
Petite Goldendoodles are affectionate, intelligent, and irresistibly adorable companions. To keep your pup thriving, it’s essential to understand their unique needs—from grooming and nutrition to exercise and emotional well-being.
🐾 Understanding the Petite Goldendoodle
Our Petite Goldendoodle typically weighs between 10–20 pounds and stands 12–20 inches tall1. Their compact size and friendly temperament make them ideal for families, apartment dwellers, and first-time dog owners.
🧼 Grooming & Coat Care
Petite Goldendoodles often inherit the Poodle’s curly or wavy coat, which is low-shedding but high-maintenance. To keep their coat healthy:
-
Brush 3–4 times per week to prevent matting and tangles.
-
Professional grooming every 12-14 weeks is recommended.
-
Regularly clean ears and trim nails to avoid infections and discomfort1.
🍽️ Nutrition & Feeding
Proper nutrition is key to your dog’s health:
-
Feed a high-quality, protein-rich kibble we feed and recommend TLC puppy food
-
Puppies need more calories and protein to support growth.
-
Avoid overfeeding—which can lead to joint issues if your puppy grows to fast or is overweight2.
-
Always provide fresh water and avoid table scraps that may upset their sensitive stomachs.
🏃 Exercise & Mental Stimulation
Though small, these pups are energetic and need daily activity:
-
Aim for 30–60 minutes of exercise per day—walks, playtime, or fetch.
-
Include mental stimulation like puzzle toys or basic obedience training to keep their sharp minds engaged3.
-
They love social interaction once safe to do so.
🩺 Health & Wellness
Petite Goldendoodles are generally healthy.
-
Schedule annual vet checkups, keep up with vaccinations, and maintain flea/tick prevention.
-
Spaying or neutering is safe to do at 8-12 months of age.
💛 Emotional Needs
These dogs are affectionate and thrive on companionship:
-
Crate training and gradual alone-time can help build independence.
-
Shower them with love, attention, and positive reinforcement—they’ll return it tenfold.
With the right care, your Petite Goldendoodle will be a joyful, loyal companion for years to come. Their playful spirit and loving nature make every effort worthwhile.
